Jica Meeting

One of the world’s largest bilateral aid agencies supporting developing countries in socioeconomic development is the “Japan International Corporation Agency”-JICA. It is a governmental organization of Japan and WDFP is working with them as a partner toward common purposes and achieve shared results. Team of JICA and WDFP had several meetings at different venues as Head Office Saddar, Maripur Center, Baldia Town Center and Sindh Secretariat.

On 29th January 2018, Ms. Sabiha Shah, Mr. Abdul Rahim Moosvi, Mr. Anis Danish, Mr. Zafar Iqbar, Ms. Nazia and Ms. Larish Turshani from Women Development Foundation Pakistan had a fruitful meeting to discuss the project plan with Ms. Yoshiko Honda, Ms. Mika Kawamoto, Ms. Noriko Hara and Mr. Abdul Hafiz Shaikh from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). JICA and WDFP are collaborating to work for empowerment of women home based workers (WHBW) of Maripur and Baldia. Team JICA was happy with the project plan submitted by WDFP and both the teams are hopeful to facilitate WHBWs in near future
